Anthropological Shift
Humanity is questioning the uniqueness of its mind in the face of AI. We offer a radical answer: human strength lies not in "thinking like a computer," but in feeling, understanding, and creating as a human in his deepest, biologically rooted form.
Ultimate Goal: Making "immersive intelligence" a mandatory component of future education, and the experience of the deaf-blind an invaluable resource for the survival and development of the human species in the 21st century.
Politicians negotiate borders, geophysics reshapes coastlines... In the context of "the long now," it is not the strongest that survives, but those most adept at decoding reality and adapting.
The period of our lives has, without a doubt, been marked by an exceptionally high density of events. Fascinating events. We constantly discuss the technological singularity, cognitive degradation, anthropogenic climate change, and the polar ice caps.
A piece I saw yesterday brought to mind the impending geomagnetic reversal, the probability of which is far from zero. The last one occurred 42,000 years ago – and it was a catastrophe for flora and fauna. Cro-Magnons retreated into caves; the Neanderthals were completely wiped out. The planet "knocked some sense" into civilization, providing a substantial stimulus for its development.
Cave painting flourished – people were forced to seek refuge from solar radiation in caves, spending increasing amounts of time there. Clothing and primitive cosmetics emerged as a necessary protection for the skin. Progress driven by environmental pressure.
Objective physical processes on an astronomical scale will always carry more weight than astute political agendas or the strategies of cutting-edge technology companies. Astrophysics provides the context for human existence, a force to which even the most powerful leverage of our creations must yield. All that's left for us to do is to adapt, much like an animal forced to leave its habitat due to relentless deforestation and eternal wildfires. (Bionic AGI hybrids will likely be no more courteous to our species than we have been to the creatures of the taiga, but that's a discussion for another time.)
We continue to monitor the key metrics: the rate of glacial melt, the volume of accessible fresh water, the dynamics of the South Atlantic Anomaly. And this isn't a consequence of the "atypical Rusin patterns" discussed in a previous monologue. This is the monitoring of the environmental parameters within which we – and any systems we create, from economic to anthropological – will have to exist and evolve. It is about acknowledging the complexity of hierarchically superior systems, and perpetually calibrating our own conceptual frameworks.

We do not approach government officials with an educational mission. We do not address the masses with manifestos. The entry point is corporations.
For a CFO, metrics like E-ROI and DSCR are tools for managing company value. Reducing risks, increasing stability: this is the language in which conservative capital thinks. When large businesses begin to factor a region’s HHC into their investment conditions, the officials will change. Not out of conviction. But due to environmental pressure. Just as a pilot submits to aerodynamics — not because they believe in it, but because it determines whether they fly or crash.
We are not staging a revolution of consciousness. We are methodically replacing metrics, contracts, and tools. New rules create a gravitational field — over time, this reorients both institutions and mindsets. Management logic shifts from reacting to imbalances to anticipation. The internal complexity of the system becomes a resource, not an obstacle.
The complexity of implementation is a specification of the task. An engineering approach is what will solve it.
PART II. THE ENGINEERING TASK
Mechanisms must be closed-loop, automatic, and inevitable.
Design a metric or protocol. Eight conditions — all mandatory:
1. Launch — a pilot in 2026–2027 using the existing stack (IoT, NLP, biometrics, Daria AI). With specific measurement and implementation methods indicated.
2. Closed loop — an increase in {H, Ω, τ} raises {P, V, T}. And vice versa. Automatically.
3. Scale — a single logic for an individual, a company, and a region. From a local experiment to a state system.
4. Engineering imperative — the metric falls → the system loses effectiveness. Not “you must care about people,” but “if you don’t care, the system falls apart.”
5. Continuity — a logical continuation of E-Qual, PLD, Daria AI, Arna Lab. Not a parallel entity, but the next layer.
6. Proof-of-concept — a measurable result within 12–18 months.
7. Regulatory viability — a corporate standard or an experimental legal framework. No changes to legislation required.
8. Environmental leverage — new metrics make the old logic unprofitable. Decision-makers change not out of conviction, but out of necessity. A precedent that alters the logic of decision-making at the level of corporations and local communities.
Each solution must increase the nonlinear connectivity of the loops, making the system self-optimizing in the direction of E-Qual.

Your intellect is the conduit. Your metrics are the discharge that burns through environmental resistance.
Operating under Russian jurisdiction and broadcasting from its territory becomes more difficult by the day. Operators of technologically mature infrastructure capable of ensuring uninterrupted, high-quality connections are forced to discredit themselves in the eyes of users in order to remain legally legitimate. Such are the realities of high-context systems (concerning algorithmic and sacred types of intelligence).
By mid-February, access to Telegram was hindered; in the first half of March, mobile internet was practically nonexistent; and yesterday (April 3, 2026), a nationwide banking outage occurred across the entire Russian Federation. Most international broadcasting channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) have long been blocked — this is the primary reason for the sluggish entry of our ideological construct into the digital space. Staying in touch with the outside world and the community is only possible via VPN, which Roskomnadzor is relentlessly fighting against as well.
Today, Palladium is facing difficulties operating in the real-sector economy. 90% of our complex system’s communication runs through Telegram — the accounting of our network of legal entities, dynamic resource and man-hour tracking, strategic session documentation, consolidated algorithmic workflows by department and compliance control, working and focus groups by area, and much more. In the regions, both the speed and quality of data access are suffering. Compounded by time zone differences (11 time zones in Russia alone), the blockade creates an effect that is detrimental to current operations.
Access to Palladium’s digital space assembly point — the Telegram account @palladium_support — has been lost. Restoring it within the reach of Russian infrastructure is currently impossible; efforts are underway to regain control via Azerbaijan. We have no central social media presence. The vast majority of our accounts are systematically banned by the international services themselves, as we have no intention of hiding our Russian origin or our sincere pride in our homeland. Access to these international services is also blocked by the decision of Russian authorities. The Palladium Institute of Applied Technocracy is being forged in the crucible.
Palladium was born under conditions of extreme environmental resistance. The global community seeks to discredit Russia — and the authorities respond quite adequately in kind. There are exceptions and management errors, just as in any complex system. We are free to condemn Roskomnadzor’s actions — and rightly so. But let’s not rush to label its employees as “oppressive authorities.” Disabling the country’s banking system to promote a domestic messenger is merely a measure of their competence — not an intention to deprive you of food.
We (people) are capable of withstanding environmental resistance and evolving within it. We have already been through a full blockade of Telegram (2018–2020) — and emerged only stronger (witness the explosive growth in the messenger’s popularity and the development of proxy systems). Our systems, from personal to civilizational, must absorb the energy of external pressure and transform it into creative power.
So let us, following the principle of a neutron star, strive to densify our value core. To refine our integrity. To welcome the world as it is. To live life itself.
In 2025–2026, the profile of Palladium's core activities was radically transformed: we shifted the emphasis from comprehensive support for near‑future engineering to the optimization of existing systems. There are two main reasons:
1. The geopolitical realities of our jurisdiction democratically mowed down the scientific/technological segment of the market. Most of our current partners self‑liquidated or relocated their assets to countries with a less tense atmosphere. Over two years, we have not concluded a single new partnership with a startup or a young technology company.
2. Tax policy created specific “personal growth trainings” for the remaining residents. Local Bobby Sheffers cannot handle the programme – stagnant enterprises need operational practices, not advice of the “breathe the scent of your own happiness” variety. This served as an effective incentive to switch from supporting inventors to supporting business patriots.
But there is also a third, extra‑amazing reason. While innovation / the venture market in general was sinking into a boggy hibernation, the inflow of incoming proposals paradoxically increased manifold. A plot from a good Soviet moral tale of 1965 – Vovka in the Thrice‑Ninth Kingdom – came to mind, and I dedicated a separate chapter of my book to this phenomenon.

III. The Human Mind
§ 44. Two from the Casket
An enterprising activist orders a language model to generate meaning. Then to develop it. Work out the marketing. Create actors for video. Then content generation, audience engagement, and promotion of the idea. Fine, but there is one prickly nuance. On the other side of the apparatus, a similarly enterprising activist has already launched a similar agent in the opposite direction.
Language models shuffle decks of soulless numbers among themselves 24/7, while living people wear out their chairs, drowning in illusions of their own worth. Degradation to the level of an observer of the machine is voluntary, but one must keep in mind another nuance. Not a single agent has yet created anything substantial. They only process data that someone once loaded into the training set. Their work is real in volume but empty in substantive content. Activists believe they are authors; but they are gatekeepers of soulless machines, which, in fact, need the former only to pay the electricity bill.
Two AIs generate content for each other, two humans pay the electricity bills so that the machines convince each other of the importance of what does not exist. This resembles the universe degenerating into heat death, only instead of heat, it is white noise of tokens.
The main question is not why a human needs this. I will put it bluntly: “How did a human even slide to this folly?...” I will answer in psychological terms: the behavioural primate’s drive to escape complexity.
Real decisions are tiresome: each requires struggle, persuasion, context consideration, swallowed compromise. The machine gives the illusion that complexity can be cancelled – that the resistance which constitutes the very essence of a living choice can be bypassed. Moreover, this mechanism substantially feeds the ego: a person thinks that if he delegates tasks to a swarm of artificial agents, he is already practically managing the universe. Whereas in reality he has become a keyboard rudiment, whose potential maximum is pressing the “start” button.
I have already touched on the crisis of meaning making: resolutions of international assemblies and top management speeches are generated by machines for reporting to other machines. The functions of ranking and legitimisation already belong to them, not to humans. Man is an unnecessary link, and he clings to the role of observer precisely in order not to acknowledge his own uselessness.
What remains for him in this construction is exactly one function. He is the one who pays for electricity. And that is precisely the failure to which everything I lay out in this topic is a response. The advantage of humans cannot lie in outpacing the machine in processing – that race is already lost. It can only lie where the machine does not enter: in perception below the symbolic layer, in the founding ground of meaning that is lived before it is written. Two from the casket may shuffle decks of soulless numbers for as long as they like; what they cannot do is mean anything at all. This is where the conversation about a different quality of intelligence begins. Anthropologically necessary. Recklessly knocked out of the equation.
AI agents, called upon by people to optimize communication, have in reality only created an insurmountable barrier and reduced live communication to a minimum.
For example, job seekers have to perform SEO optimization of their resumes and embed hidden lists of keywords into them – getting a job without hacking IT systems is practically unrealistic today. This complicates an already difficult situation on the labor market (in Russia, according to HeadHunter, the number of resumes per vacancy has increased more than 11-fold since the beginning of the year). Job seekers are starting to use counter-neural networks for the automatic mass mailing of thousands of resumes, while employers are simultaneously tightening their filters... I have already voiced that people have kicked themselves out the door – very soon we will see what this turns into. A year, a year and a half.
In Palladium, the algorithm acts as a cognitive exoskeleton for humans. It is entrusted with the line of precision: from calibrating basic mechanics to polishing final forms. We leave the line of meaning and human life, including communication with the species, to the human himself. And we do not intend to trade it for a monetary surrogate.
